WELCOME TO THE HOME SITE OF THE MOTHER CHAPTER OF PHI BETA SIGMA IN WISCONSIN. OUR FRATERNITY AND OUR CHAPTER HAS A LONG AND DISTINGUSHED HISTORY OF BROTHERS WHO HAVE LIVED UP TO THE HIGH IDEALS OF BROTHERHOOD, SCHOLARSHIP, AND SERVICE.

PHI BETA SIGMA WAS ESTABLISHED ON JANUARY 9, 1914 AT HOWARD UNIVERSITY IN WASHINGTON D.C. BY OUR HONORABLE FOUNDERS ABRAM L. TAYLOR, LEONARD F. MORE, AND CHARLES I. BROWN. THE THETA BETA CHAPTER OF PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY INCORPORTATED WAS FOUNDED ON JANUARY 28, 1974 BY REGINALD HUDSON AND KEITH REID AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-WHITEWATER.

1. Along with our beautiful sisters of ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, The Blue and White Family is the only constitutionally bound group of greek letter organizations.2. In an era of segregation and racism , the founders of Phi Beta Sigma took the high road and set a precedent of recruitment based on character and achievement rather than race, skin color, or hair texture.3. In the tradition of community service in which Phi Beta Sigma has set the standard, it has established 3 oustanding national programs. These programs are Bigger and Better Business, Social Action and Education. These programs in every way exemplify our motto of "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity". It is also the only fraternity to sponsor the million man march in Washington D.C. 4. The current members of Theta Beta Chapter are Jonathan M. Jenkins, Wilbur Baker Jr., and James Robinson. Just a few drops in a wave of new Sigmas to follow.
